Ingredients
- 500 g Potato boiled & mashed
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 200 g Mozzarella Cheese cubes
- 1 large Egg beaten
- 1 cup Bread Crumbs
- 1 cup Oil for frying
Dipping Sauce:
- Tomato Catsup or Mayonnaise
Instructions
~ How to Prepare ~
- Peel potatoes
- Slice into chunks
- Wash potatoes
- In a pot submerge potatoes in water
- Let it boil over medium heat
- Cook potatoes for about 10 mins. or until tender
- Transfer in a dish or bowl and mash until smooth
- Add sugar & mix then set aside
- Slice cheese into cubes
- Beat large egg in a bowl
- Prepare bread crumbs
~ Assemble ~
- Scoop a tablespoon of mashed potato
- Flatten & fill with cheese in the center
- Cover cheese & press lightly to make a ball
- Repeat the process until done with mashed potato & cheese
- Refrigerate for 10 mins. until potato balls are firm
- Wash in beaten egg
- Roll the balls in the breadcrumbs to coat them evenly.
- Repeat the process until done coating
- You can also use quickmelt cheese
~ Let's start frying! ~
- Heat the oil in a deep-fryer or a deep pan over medium-high heat.
