Bulanglang Recipe, this boiled Vegetables with pork is Pampanga’s favorite dish.

Pour off all but 2 tbsp. of oil in skillet. Saute Pork, garlic, onions and tomato in oil. Add bagoong and water. Let come to a boil.
Add squash, string green beans and ampalaya in that order.
Cover, lower heat to moderate and cook 6 to 8 minutes or until vegetables are done.
Add pepper (labuyo) leaves, remove from heat, cover and let stand for about 5 minutes before serving.

1Tnx for the recipe. I’m a kapampangan, the recipe above is not the “bulanglang” that we kapampangan’s love to it. This is a different bulanglang dish, which is a vegetable dish. Our famous Bulanglang is a soup dish with guava fruit. Hence, sometimes it is called siningang sa bayabas.
It has many varieties, you can use pork, fish but the most delicious is bulanglang na hipon.

2yes the orig. bulanglang is the one that has guava. pork bilanglang is my favorite. I’m a kapampangan too.
