Filipino Recipes Portal Tatt Awards 2013 Winner for Best Travel / Food Blog

Globe Tattoo Awards is now on its 3rd year that have been giving recognition to blogs and social media practitioners that have made an impact on the Philippine Social media landscape.

This year, I was surprised that PinoyRecipe.Net Filipino Recipes Portal has been chosen as one of the Finalist for the Best Travel / Food Blog category. Then on the awards night I was even more surprised that we won the Trophy in the said category. Even though we already won the voting process it was only 10% out of 100% possible score.

I also think that we also won the 20% score for “Social Media influence”. We have 40K fans on FB, 4,500 on Google+, 3,700 followers on twitter and 1,500 followers on Pinterest, others don't have Google+ and Pinterest on their profile.

Most of the competition on the Best Travel / Food Blog category were already past Tatt Awards finalist, so I did not expect that we will win this. My main concern is the 70% score that would come from the Tatt Council who have made a huge impact in the Digital Landscape of the Philippines. The Tatt Council are consisted of Joey Mead King, Abe Olandres, Maria Ressa, BJ Pascual, Mikey Bustos, Bianca Gonzalez, Anton Diaz, Bianca Consunji, Dong Ronquillo, TJ Manotoc and Jim Paredes.

The result is now very clear we WON the Globe Tatt Awards 2013 and I would like to thank you PinoyRecipe.net's avid visitors and supporters for voting, campaigning and continuously coming back to this Food site for more Filipino Foods that we offer.

Tatt Awards 2013 have chosen entries from the different social media platforms from Blogs, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter and Podcast. All of the nominees were judged by The Tatt Council.
