SUKANG SAWSAWAN:

Red Onions

Instructions
Boil 1 dozen eggs for 10 minutes
Drain, let it cool completely, cracked & peel off egg shells
Coat eggs with flour
Combine flour, cornstarch and baking powder
Add seasoning annatto powder, magic sarap & black pepper then mix.
Add water gradually & mix, make sure the consistency of batter is not too thick or runny
~ Time to Fry ~
Heat oil in a pan
Coat eggs with annatto batter using bamboo skewers or spoon
Fry each Tokneneng for 3-4 mins.
~ Let's make of our Sukang Sawsawan ~
Mince small red onion
Peel & mince cucumber
Slice red & green chillies
Add white vinegar, water and sugar
Add salt and black pepper then stir until well combine
~ To Serve ~
Transfer Tokneneng ina plastic cup and cut
Top with sawsawan and serve with a skewer
