Macapuno and Langka Leche Flan Recipe, a new twist on a classic Pinoy dessert made so much easier.





Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes to caramelize sugar plus 30 minutes to steam flan
Servings: 6

Macapuno and Langka Leche Flan Ingredients:

  • [singlepic=299,240,180,watermark,right]1 1/2 cups NESTLE Fresh Milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 5 pieces eggs lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup macapuno drained
  • 1/2 cup langka preserve sliced into strips drained
  • 1 tsp dayap rind (optional)

    NUTRITIONAL CONTENT:

    Calories:337
    Carbohydrates (g):44
    Protein (g):11
    Fats (g):13

Macapuno and Langka Leche Flan Cooking Instructions:

  • Caramelize 1/2 cup of sugar in a pan.

  • Pour into leche flan mold and spread to coat the bottom.

  • In a bowl, combine eggs, the remaining 1/2 cup white sugar, milk, macapuno, langka and dayap zest (if using).

  • Stir well to dissolved sugar.

  • Pour into the mold and steam for 30 minutes or until set.

  • Chill and serve cold.

    Thanks for the different kind of recipe, its a twist and i love it. Hope you can provide baking recipes without using the big oven but instead you can use oven toaster and microwave oven.
