I was in Los Bagnos Laguna for 6months, and really miss buko pie!
I live now in Tahiti and will try to cook one to make my tahitian friends know this famous dish

here in finland u can only find a coconut meat from an asian grocerie store. but even though i have 2 drive from a far distance 2 get it, it’s still worth it…every miles.buko pie is just so nammy:)

if you’re in the philippines, it’s easy to buy coconut meat from any vendors or stalls selling coconut. all you have to do is to tell them what you need and they’ll provide you with that.

I really really really missed buko pie. Though this step seems so easy, I dont know where to get some coconut meat. and Im not a good cooker.
