Taba ng Talangka Rice Recipe, a local version of paella – a rice dish bursting with the flavors and textures of the sea.

Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Servings: 6 – 8

Taba ng Talangka Rice Ingredients:

  • tabangtalangkarice.jpg 2 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 tbsp chopped ginger
  • 1 tbsp chopped garlic
  • ¼ cup chopped onions
  • 2 tbsp taba ng talangka (crab fat)
  • 100g shrimp, shelled and deveined
  • ¼ cup tinapa flakes
  • ½ cup squid rings
  • 1 sachet 8g MAGGI Magic Sarap
  • salt to taste
  • ¼ cup NESTLÉ All Purpose Cream
  • 4cups cooked rice
  • ¼ cup green peas

Seafood Sisig Recipe, we used Squid, mussels and oysters as a substitute to pork head which is traditionally used in this popular Pampangueno dish.

Seafood Sisig Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup chopped red onions
  • 500 grams squid cleaned and black inc sac removed sliced into 1/4″ rings
  • 1 cup chopped fresh oyster meat
  • 1 mussels
  • 1 sachet 8g MAGGI MAGIC SARAP
  • 1 tbsp MAGGI Savor Calamansi

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 pc 11g MAGGI Shrimp Broth Cube
  • 2 tbsp tausi (black beans)
  • 1/4 cup vinegar

Kinilaw na Lukon Recipe – Name anything that you could prepare as “kinilaw” and for sure Ilonggos have tried it, take for example this delectable and refreshing kinilaw na hipon with coconut vinegar and green mango, try it with Chicken Inasal.

Preparation Time: 15 minutes plus 30 minutes to chill

Kinilaw na Lukon Ingredients:

  • kinilaw na lukon½ tsp. salt
  • 1 8 g. MAGGI Magic Sarap
  • 1 tbsp. brown sugar
  • ½ cup coco vinegar
  • 400g. medium size shrimp, shelled and deveined
  • 1 medium size onion, sliced
  • ¼ cup sliced ginger
  • 1 large tomato, seeded and sliced
  • 2 pieces green mango, grated
  • ¼ cup chopped spring onion
