Paksiw na Lechon Manok Recipe

Paksiw na Lechon Manok, we Filipinos have the popular Lechon Paksiw for pork, here’s the version for the chicken lechon paksiw.

Preparation and Cooking Time : 1 hour

Paksiw na Lechon Manok Ingredients:

  • 1 pc medium onion, sliced
  • 1 whole (750 g) cooked lechon manok or fresh chicken, cut-up
  • 1 can (234 g) DEL MONTE Fresh Cut Pineapple Chunks
  • 2 pc laurel leaves
  • 3 tbsp DEL MONTE Red Cane Vinegar
  • 1 tsp liquid seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp iodized fine salt (or 1/4 tbsp iodized rock salt)
  • 1/2 cup lechon sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup dried banana blossom (bulaklak ng saging)

Blueberry Cheesecake Recipe, Cheesecake is a large family of sweet, cheese-based pie. Cheesecakes are generally made with soft, fresh cheeses. Other ingredients such as sugar, eggs, flour, liquids are often mixed in as well. Typically, the filling covers a crust, which may be pastry, cookie, or digestive biscuit.

The word cheesecake is also used to describe the creamy, cheesy flavour of the dessert. There are also savoury cheesecakes, often flavoured with blue cheese and served as hors d’oeuvres or with accompanying salads.

Estimated cooking time: 1 hour and 30 minutes + 4 hours chilling

Blueberry Cheesecake Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 3 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs

  • 1 (21-ounce) can blueberry pie filling

Fish Kare Kare Recipe

Fish Kare Kare Recipe, Kare-kare is a Philippine stew. It is made from peanut sauce with a variety of vegetables, stewed oxtail, beef, and occasionally offal or tripe. Meat variants may include goat meat or (rarely) chicken. It is often eaten with bagoong (shrimp paste), sometimes spiced with chili, and sprinkled with calamansi lime juice. Any Filipino fiesta, particularly in the Tagalog region, is not complete without kare-kare. Kare-kare is Rich in Niacin, promotes normal digestion and healthy skin.

Makes 6 servings.

Fish Kare Kare Ingredients:

  • fish-kare-kare.jpg 300 g labahita (Surgeon fish) fillet, cut into large chunks
  • 1 pc about 300 grams puso ng saging (banana heart), trimmed and sliced
  • 1 pc large eggplant, sliced
  • 1 tbsp atsuete juice
  • 1 pouch (115 g) DEL MONTE Original Style Tomato Sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice flour
  • 3 tbsp toasted peanuts, pounded
  • 2 heads native pechay
  • 1/2 tsp ginger juice
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 5 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 pc medium onion, chopped
  • 1 pc beef bouillon cube
  • 4 strings sitaw, cut into 2” pieces
